Fair Trade Cat Puzzle

This fair trade cat puzzle is hand carved and brightly painted in child-safe acrylic colours. Smaller animals fit neatly into the centre of the body. Being hand painted the colours may vary. The puzzle is 25cm.

The importer of this product is a member of BAFTS and has a direct trading policy. They visit the poorer regions of the world, such as Indonesia, Nepal, Peru and the Amazon, in search of quality crafts. Once found they pay a fair price, often making advance payments to enable the craftsman or artist to purchase raw materials. This direct trading policy currently provides well paid regular employment for about 200 families.
